We are pleased to host designer and author Tanis Gray, fresh on the heels of the publication of her new book, "Knitting with Disney: The Official Disney Knitting Book" (required for the class and available in the shop). Some of you may know Tanis's work from her previous books: "Star Wars: Knitting the Galaxy"; "Harry Potter: Knitting Magic" and others. Tanis will lead us through the knitting of her "Sleeping Beauty" headband, a double-sided, stranded colorwork headband for your favorite princess. You'll learn the long-tail cast-on, working in the round with two colors, and how to graft stitches to form a seamless join. Best of all, you'll end up with a double-thick, extra-warm headband suitable for royalty.

Note: If you'll be supplying your own yarn, you'll need two 50-g skeins of fingering-weight yarn in contrasting colors. All students will need a 16-in. cable needle in size 3 or the size needed to get gauge; stitch marker; tapestry needle.
