Friday Night

Cocktail Party - 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Magpie Knits

Saturday Morning

Coffee & Pastries - 8:30 to 9:00 am at the iconic Bradbury Building on the Downtown Mall (now called Vault Virginia). Find it on the corner of 3rd Street SE and the mall. Look for the Magpie Knits sign on the mall side out front. Steaming coffee and scrumptious pastries are provided by Harvest Moon Catering (yum).

Roosimine Session - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Bradbury Building. Our morning class will be dedicated to learning Roosimine knitting (Estonian colorwork). We'll work on a hat designed by Tanis, called A Short Reprise. This pattern requires DK yarn and US6 and US7 16" circular needles.

There's a little homework that we'll share with you once you're

registered for the retreat.

Saturday Afternoon

Box Lunch - 12:00 to 1:00 pm

Once again our delicious lunch will be supplied by Harvest Moon Catering.

Fingerless Mitts Session - 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Bradbury Building. The afternoon session will be focused on learning the secrets of colorwork as we create a pair of two-color, fingerless mitts using the Louisa Pattern by Tanis Gray. These mitts use Aran weight yarn and US 6 Flexiflips or DPN's.
