Description: Curious about double knitting but not quite sure how it works? In this workshop we’ll learn the magic of knitting two sides of your work at once with no visible wrong side. We’ll also cover ways to keep your edges tidy, the provisional cast on, how to read double knitting charts, and work up the Oogie Boogie Roulette Cowl with hearts, diamonds, spades, skulls, and club motifs from the new book by Tanis Gray.
Experience Level: Intermediate – Colorwork experience not necessary, but helpful
Skills required: Ability to knit and purl, confident working two strands of yarn at once
Skills Covered: Double knitting techniques, keeping edges tidy, how to read double knitting charts, casting on with 2 colors
Homework: Come caffeinated with yarn wound.
